Just watched "Fresh, the Movie" and it substantiated, once again, the belief i have in sustainable agriculture. Large agribusiness is a danger to our food future, health and sense of earth. We have to regain our earth senses so as to ensure that the next generations have the knowledge to return to the way it has been for centuries. It's figured out, we just have to get big business off the farm. Some areas have no vegetables, eat bad meats filled with growth hormones and won't buy a tomato grown organically because of the cost. If vacant lots were re-purposed to grow and raise food products, the kids will soon know the value of hard work and the taste of victory of the powers that be infringing on our choices. It's a win win when we compost, allow nature to do it's thing and grow more than we can eat. Aqua culture and agriculture taken vertically will produce fish, recreation, mollusks and rain. Processed algae will produce fuel for our machinery as well. Look into it, the Snacton has.
