I got the job!! The last of the vetting took place and i got the call with the good news. I walked in to the cab co. and told them I wanTED to work weekends only and got the sheet handed to me. Sat. and Sun. Perhaps Fri. Sat would be better, i don't know yet. I did some numbers yesterday and with a $1000 bonus each month could be making $36k. At 8 hours a day 5 days a week in the same town and without having to delouse each night due to the nature of my business, it's definitely an upgrade. Soon i can have that '63 split window, tri-tone Corvette.
I just watched "About a Son" the audio documentary featuring Curt Cobain out of Nirvana and the Northwest of the U.S. Curt was depressed and suicidal since childhood due to medical and family issues. Mental and drug issues came later and the dark star finally ceded his life to a chance at happiness. Eddie Vedder of the Pearl Jam met him once and said he was a cool dude.
