Christmas lot.

I have no psyche to go out on xmass eve. I'm afraid to ask others to befriend me. My bullshit meter is set so low it might be broken. That's a good thing if I happen to infiltrate a circle of unclaimed entrepreneurs seeking sage interruption and have it videotape rssed straight to YouTube/HULU/Slate/The Smithsonian, etc. , and help me build the Snacton compound. That's not a fantasy unattainable, thats imperative to every kind of survival. Mental, sexual, financial,  physical and other survivals will require me to be meeting regular people on the regular. I should leave now.

Joy of no elle.

Not feeling Xmas again this year. I hope it's not over for me since it used to be my favorite holiday. But now and for the last 6 years or so I could give a rip about traditions and festivities. This will end next year. I am going to have a girlfriend to consider. Till then new years eve can expect a great deal promotion from me.

I'm in such a funk I cant stand it.

I need help. I need friends. I need help. I dont want to go furniture shopping because I wont be able to get the items out from the van and into the house. How embarrassing is that?

I'm gonna change courses and just take care of myself. Im not the leader, the entrepreneur or the philanthropist. I'm just looking for love. Female ompanionship is happiness for me and trying to convince some gal that my business is best for both of us is too much to ask. My shingle pain is enough to deal with. Im done caring for others. I here tell that the U.S. government is responsible for the laying off (screwing over) of over 6oo,ooo wage earners.That affects way over 5 million people that count on that paycheck. This kind of unexpected $hortfall is just the reason I am touting the benefits of running an aquaponics based food source. For a few grand, time on the learning curve, marketing training and the recruiting of those interested,  families can hedge against untimely circumstances. At Snacton, we plan on systemizing growth by organizing mini aquaponics farms into a stock market of sorts. Have you ever heard of commodity futures? Same idea.

Talking with a true entrepreneur.

I met with Christoph this morning to talk about feasibility, first steps, pre planning and cost breakdowns of an entrepreneurial effort. This guy is a founder of www.lovesac.com , a fifty million dollar company. He brought up some great points and asked some good questions. One question was "how many friends do you have on your team"? My answer was vaguely cloudy because I feel that the support of my friends is nearly non existent. I know that they must have heard about snacton.com , the blog, twitter etcetera by now but I've not gotten the feedback I need. If a friend of mine was seeking interest about an effort, I would actively show encouragement.
We agreed that the time is right, the need is there, the science is tight, the proof is substantiated and the cool factors are share worthy.  We also need to get more information on the subject.

Meat Up.

Something happened to me. I used to be able and willing to make friends. Now I'm neither and doubt I would know what to do with them once their made. I have been tinkering with the idea of getting a group together on MEETUP.com to take me on as a project. I would call it something like "The Tony Bacon Projects" and have the interested make me do things and help me to become the coolest frood in the galaxy. We would design the club house, build the aquaponics models, erect a chillage in the back, get waylayed all over, car camp, build a pizza oven, write a novel, set up the Youtube chanel, make beer and stuff, collect friends, start a troupe, plant bamboo and make orbs out of it, scavenge, do art housey actions, fight other troupes, make furniture and maintain a pet thing zoo. We would document everything and do a documentary series. I almost have to do this.

Now seriously folks.

Seriously semi-retired. I'm scheduled to drive on Saturday and Sunday, the two busiest days of the week for a cabbie. Conservatively I'll bring in $1200 for the month. I work either Fridays and Mondays and thats another grand. As I pay down my debts to Zer0 that $22oo plus leaves me more cash to stack. I work only two Thursdays or Tuesdays out of the month and now we're talking $2700 on a $9oo nut. This is all considering I dont do anything st00pid, like get a life or something.

Time to look at this semi-retirement option a little closer. $1600 is my nut duvee. It goes down to $900. I get a sugar mamasita or 2 to move in and pay $600. I'm semi-retired!

Here comes the neighborhood.

The reason I had to buy what I bought where I had to buy it is simple. Zappos, the online retailer, just opened its campus yesterday, 15 minutes from my house. They have 15oo Zapptaliens moving in with a capacity of 2ooo. I done. I good. I done good.

Foundough.

Dont you love it when you come into cash! Well, I do. I just got a o% interest credit card and will do a balance transfer handover maneuver which will pocket me a tidy sum of about $50bux$ each month. I found two digital cameras and an I Phone 5S. The phone should net me $100. Ill keep the cameras for the documentaly. I know i lost a grip of coins in the Rizide but I found way more than I thought i had lost. Coins are free money, eventually-. This time I'll add up the small change and save the quarters for something nice. Stay tuned for the tally. An oversight got me a refund from the title company of $6oo. That's basically a months mortgage! Now if the folks that owe me dough pay me back, I can semi-retire.

The game well plied.

At the WIProgress pre 1st Fri. party, I struck up a convo with a guy that had raised a quarter million for some manner of tech longshot. A vast majority of venture capital dollars return, void of value, because these pitchsters look the look and speak the speak. What a waste of money this is. A $5ooK$ investment which, even if marginally relevant, would only serve a few people for a few months. This dude assured me that my low number of $30K would get me a snicker and a pass. He said that there are nervous ticks and tells that the old money people are pre-conditioned to expect. These departments are used to seeing the soft exposed underbelly of the cow tow. I said the system is due for a change on account of the new wave of entrepreneur. I know, nothing is new under the son, but the son is new. I informed him that so few people need his idea that the financing of it would seem suspicious and that my contribution, Snacton Aquafarm, will be needed everywhere and that the sniggering would be equally suspicious. He disagreed.

There are only 6 houses on my street. I did a distance check and it's about two miles on the road to Fremont street, 1.5 miles by the crows flight and 13 minutes by moped.  For some reason i have yet to rejoice at the new news, perhaps because of the battle shock iv'e maneuvered through over the past 10 odd years. Perhaps i don't feel the joy because i'm afraid that i am starting the same cycle all over again, so used to having nothing, no friends near. No love known. I am too comfortable being the lone pig, invisible to the pork fans in my midst. I am not a blank slate eager to be slathered with color. I am color, verve, vivacity and good times. I am brilliance, forbearance, kindness and hope. I am not going to be able to do this alone. I imagine myself working on a 10 person project without the benefit of the other nine. Thing is, if I didn't forsake myself and hash this venture out, I would have nothing of the sort to offer those who have never heard of me. This town has got to be the best one ever. After work I went upto uptown and just had a cold drink for an hour or so at the Beat Coffee. Such a cool vibe and a key crossroad at which so much positivity is cultured. I can't jump in to the mosh until I get the keys to "MarcellAlise", but once I do, im in the pit of dis pair. Ballz deep!

I was looking at the #downtownproject site and noticed that the pledge to business development is $1oo millions half of which is earmarked for small businesses. My idear is unique to the extent that we might recieve some "ill pay to see that gossamer try to fly" assistance. This birds design is ingenious in theory, structurally superior to its predecessors and serves every sector that needs serving. Snacton is not unlike Apple Computer in that we need a kind and benevolent audience to see the schematic through.

Project "Clay Arts" is completed. Response has been totally positive, of course, and I can now concentrate on the next branding schwagger bits and the biz model plan. The new biz cards should be in by tomorrow and in a brave move I've forced my own hand to motivate towards structuring Snacton towards the referral marketing construct. The cards.state that referral marketing expedites growth and sales or something to that effect. The Snacton is an effective lifestyle brand that caters to carers.

I spoke with my sales agent who spoke with the lending agent who spoke with the real estate transaction coordinator today. She said that she spoke with the listing agent who spoke with the seller. The seller is still stoked to sell. Im super stoked. I wont make moves in my new hood until I get the keys though. Once the place is mine I'll - 1) Get over to the #WORK IN PROGRESS  biz development hot house. They will hear my pitch and advise upon strategery. 2)Sketch a floor plan.and a projects list for the house and water/power. 3) Go shopping for security, supplies, fruit trees, friends, a fridge and a toaster oven.

The cabbie strike is re ramping up to start a new round of activity. There were 7 police cars out front today and the protesters have reclaimed the space next to the parking lot. I was in the tee shirt shop this morning and they tell me that strike wear has been ordered. Thats all well and swell but I am still living too close to the fray for comfort. This next week should be providential concerning my move to DOWNTOWN. I really hope this stage is over soon. My designer at the tee shirt shop is on the verge of giving up on Vegas. Im going to try and find him a few contacts so that he can be on another verge. Besides he's a good designer and has a lot to offer.

Reside the residence.The place I should be closing on was inspected for the first time only yesterday. I have already decided that I want the lot. Upon entry I realized that the owner is delusional. He claims 3br/2ba but its 2/1 at best. Total fixer. Nothings easy.

Burgeon Land.

It seems odd to me that I have to pay for a home inspection before I have even seen the inferior interior. In order to move forward I must do as Im told. In the hope of seeing daylight we must risk venturing further into the unknown. I went by there a couple hours ago and saw 2 Asian twenty something women on the front yard with a giant Pitt Bull on leash. This drive by revealed a more ghetto hood than ever before. Grown men riding about on children's bicycles, young children, seeking to give attention, men working on cars and the smell of ganjah wafting through the fragrance of corn tortillas. Home bound hope found.

Space of waste.

My latest dream house smells like a free range dog pound. Big dog stink. That toxicity poses more than a nose problem because the ground is ammonia soaked and thus useless for gardening, fish farming and courting. It reeks like a skid row alley. Not nice at all. This might take a year to rectify. I might be able to get the city to declare it a hazardous dump site or better yet offer 60k on account of the roof needing replaced and the patio being separated from the main structure. SHIT!!

I got a call from the New York offices of Story Corps this morning reminding me of appt. in 3 days. Shr sent me a pdf. of ehat they call "great questions". This helps create a script for the interviewer. Im just gonna ramble on.

I wouldn't say I'm paralyzed but...

Ive always used the term "paralyzed out of contention" as meaning afraid to take action. I am afraid to live my life as it should be lived because if I make the wrong moves at the wrong times all the shit I've gone through, positioning myself for the major come up will be for naught. Living in the Rizide so near work during a wildcat strike is a potential disaster. I sneak about my own "home in stead" for fear of being seen. I sleep with a loaded gun next to my pillow. I got a message from my agent today informing me of the new information forming. I will have no days off until 2o3o, the property is being cleaned and the intruder has been evacuated. We might make a lowball offer in a week. Danger alert: the house is next door to a Mexican mercado/carniciera/panaderia/marisco. Damn.

I just stumbled upon a dream. Half acre lot with small house way back on the property. Loads of space, horses on the block, near elementary school and Thai Buddhist prayer compound. Shade trees and water well. All for under $100k. Well all my dreams are nightmarish.

My next home.

I have been through so much in the past 5 years that I would lay claim to being a new being. In that now I suffer from chronic nervitis, have lost a great percentage of my closest friends and have a new je ne' cest quois about me, I am different, improved. The true measure is calibrated when my next setbof friends serve as my sounding board and advice council.

Well its Pi day again already.  Today I start buying my PIEce of the pie. I hope. I need to get over to the lending agent with my paperwork so he can tell me whats next. I have had to put spending on hold in order to give the appearance of savings discipline. I can prove a sufficient income, if they accept that a big part of my flow is cash cow tipping. I've found a sticker etc. company I want to work with. These folks have a design program on their site.The button people have flaked so far but are worth trying again because 1) they do embroidery 2) they are a startup and 3) they are next to the dollar movies. So stickers, buttons, embroidered patches, and clay thingies and more all within 3 weeks.

Topic of Cancer.

Cancer isn't always bad. My brother and niece are born under the Cancer zodiac sign. Cancer rhymes with dancer and answer and enhancer. Prancer? Some would call cancer a blessing from God or a lesson about something.Thats where the positives end. Cancer is a killer and a destroyer and a pain. Whose idea was it to name the worst medical malady ever after an astronomical expanse or Greek cycle? There is always an etymolological reason for why we refer to things the way we do. But cancer? Stem cell research must advance.

Toxic Offender.

When I was doing screen printing in my kitchen in Sacramento, the bulk of the toxic waste went down the bathtub drain. I always knew that the environmental impact was negative, but art kills sometimes. This will always never change. Now I will experiment with heat applied art, rhinestone patterns and applique. Not as street level as paint but cheaper and more environmentaly responsible.  Furthermore, we can do 6 color kaleidoscopic designs and take some iron ons with us on the road to apply to thrift store tees.

The Tortilla Confusion.

I love and thus repell. I save and am yet broke. I give and am unable to recieve. I'm the fastest runner but I'm not allowed to win. I have the answers but my very life excludes me from the conversation. I want to dance again. I am never going to give up hope on giving hope. I can see clearly now. I have trained for the fight for too long and am now punch drunk and afraid. If my story lives on without me in the way, we may have a chance at being cast.

Working it out.

In lieu of working out yesterday noon, I worked on my research project: Barbeque Joints. Todays view pertained to Famous Dave's BBQ. Big chain experience down home hospitality. Get the happy hour/lunch special. I had the rib tips and a Bloody Mary. Ran me about 13$ Good price, portion and barbecue. They didnt serve bread or greenery with it though. Upsides were the service and extras. They gave me a free bottle of Memphis Mustard sauce, a coupon for $10 off appetizers and a free desert coupon (if i fill out the online survey). I love that they have hundreds of antiques on the walls and do a sampling of 7 sauces with homemade potato chips. Big BBQ has its benefits. 

Societal Wows.

I know you all have said it aloud. If you are paying any attention, have the internet, watch the television or blog or twitter you have said "woe"! I just saw two kids get 270,457 likes because they wanted a puppy. They are under 5 years old and can't even know what a million is much less what it's like to raise a live animal. Its not so much the "i want" as the "I like that you want" that concerns me. Not enough people aren't using their time and energy and intelligence to solve real problems. There should be a care button. Where is your care? More and more, society is aghast at the depths of inhumanity exhibited everyday. The caring public is increasingly purturbed by who is receiving all the attention. I know,  its easier to find the like button than it is to put together a movement, but to back a force that you believe in is energy well spent. Find a care button you like and share.

This entrepreneurs approach seemed right enough, aggressive growth and effective networking. Thing was he had 6 beers while we sat there. Obviously impacted by the additive, he left to do some more buzzed driving and schmoozing. Unhappy bad year dude !(
